The Executive Director of Center For Public Policy and Economic Analysis, Mr. Julius Gyimah, has praised the recent appointments made by the President, John Dramani Mahama highlighting the qualifications of appointees.
During an interview with Kwaku Owusu Adjei affectionately called Patoo on Adwenekasa, a current affairs programme on Original FM, Gyimah acknowledged the first gentleman for the move.
Mr. Gyimah emphasized that all appointees demonstrated significant expertise and delivered commendable performance during the vetting process.
“This shows how qualified and experienced they are to fit into their respective offices,” he stated.
Gyimah urged Ghanaians to combat corruption and greed to facilitate tax collection and expanding the tax base adding that a collective effort is essential for economic improvement.
Addressing the current economic challenges, Gyimah expressed caution regarding the Finance Minister, Honourable Ato Forson.
“Although he is experienced, he must navigate this dynamic and complicated economy carefully,” he advised.
The Executive Director expressed appreciation to the President’s efforts in making these appointments, recognizing the importance of strong leadership during these challenging times.
