Ace broadcaster, Kofi Okyere Darko known commonly as KOD, has endorsed the candidacy of National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, for the 2024 presidential election.
Speaking at the NDC’s official campaign launch in Tamale on Saturday, July 27, KOD described former President Mahama as the “breath of fresh air” Ghanaians yearn for.
“Today, I stand in front of you as Ghanaians with the strong conviction that we need that change that we have been yearning for, and that is why I stand today to endorse His Excellency John Dramani Mahama as the next President of the Republic of Ghana.” he declared.
He further praised Mahama as a visionary leader, saying his policies demonstrate a true understanding of the change and solutions needed to address Ghana’s challenges.
KOD, who is also a fashion mogul, urged the youth to rally behind Mahama, stressing that everyone is burdened and needs relief.
Mr. Okyere Darko later took to his social media handles to reiterate his endorsement.
“Mahama for president,” the former Radio Gold and Starr FM presenter wrote.
