Election 2024: Mahama can’t help Ghanaians again – NPP’s Felicia Tettey to Sagnarigu voters

The parliamentary candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Sagnarigu constituency, Felicia Tettey, has called on voters to reject John Dramani Mohama, the presidential candidate of the opposition NDC in forthcoming elections.

Madam Felicia Tettey said the former president will have limited time to develop the country if elected.

She touted the NPP and its flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the surest bet for the development of the Ghanaian people.

She made the call during the official launch of her campaign ahead of the December 7 polls.

The Sagnarigu Constituency is one of the seats to monitor in the upcoming elections as the NDC has been winning it since its creation in 2012. The NPP has performed abysmally in the constituency until the coming of Madam Tertey who secured several votes for the governing party in the 2020 elections. The development has given the NPP hope they can flip the Sagnarigu seat.

Precious Stone, as she is affectionately called, urged electorates to vote massively for her and Dr. Bawumia to bring more development to the area and Ghana at large.

The launch of the campaign brought bigwigs of party together to help send a good signal to voters in the constituency.

Dominic Nitiwul, the Defence Minister and MP for Bimbila, who attended the launch called on the Sagnarigu constituents to cast their votes for NPP to give them an opportunity to “taste” the difference between the two major parties.
