Asante Kotoko head coach Eric Tinkler has hinted that the club could make further signings as preparations continue for the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.
The Porcupine Warriors are undergoing a major squad rebuild under the South African coach, with several players departing as the club reshapes its playing squad ahead of the new campaign.
Kotoko have also brought in a number of new players, including foreign-based recruits with significant experience, as Tinkler looks to build a squad capable of competing for honours.
Although the coach believes the club has largely completed its recruitment, he has left the door open for more additions.
“We have now completed the signings that we feel we need to strengthen the squad,” Tinkler said.
He explained that the changes go beyond simply bringing in new players, with the club also making significant decisions over the existing squad.
“What you should expect is obviously there is going to be a number of changes in terms of the squad.
“We’ve moved a number of players out that we just felt… So [there are] a lot of new faces, a lot of foreign-based players that come with a lot of experience as well, which I think is all very important.”
