Everyone Around Black Stars Must Share Blame for 2026 World Cup Failure- Amin Lamtey

Mohammed Amin Lamtey, the Director of Communications at Pilgrims Affairs, has called for collective responsibility following the Black Stars’ disappointing performance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Speaking in an interview with Sportstiger on Original TV, Lamtey said the blame should not be placed on a single individual, insisting that everyone connected to the national team must accept responsibility for the poor campaign.

“Everyone around the Black Stars should be blamed for our poor performance at the 2026 World Cup,” he stated.

According to Lamtey, the disappointing showing reflects shortcomings across the entire setup, including the technical team, players, administrators, and other stakeholders involved with the national team.

His comments come amid growing public debate over Ghana’s performance at the tournament, with football fans and analysts demanding accountability and reforms to improve the fortunes of the Black Stars.
