Family of slain mother and daughters urges media to respect their privacy and avoid misinformation

The Armah and Hagan families have expressed concern over misleading and inaccurate reports circulating in the media about the circumstances surrounding the tragic death of Mrs. Alberta Armah Hagan and her two children, Nana Adwoa Hagan and Elsie Hagan.

In a statement signed by James Carl Vale-Hagan, the families urged media houses and individuals to refrain from speculating and spreading vile rumors about the deceased, as it disrespects their memory and causes unnecessary pain and confusion for the family and loved ones.

The Ghana Police Service has commenced investigations into the gruesome murder, and the families appealed to the media to respect the long-cherished tenets of Ghanaian culture and tradition, which revere the memory of the dead, grieving, and bereaved families.

The families emphasized that sensational reporting, which is unethical and insensitive, affects the emotions of the family and children left behind during these trying times.

They urged the media to be responsible and accurate in their reporting, as the families seek justice and truth surrounding the tragic incident.
