Police in the Wassa Amenfi District have arrested a farmer who confessed to killing his six-year-old son for alleged money rituals
The boy had been reported missing, sparking a search in the community. Unknown to residents, his father, Abdul Salam, had already killed him.
Police say Salam severed the child’s head and legs and hid them in a nearby bush. During interrogation, he confessed that he committed the act in an attempt to use the body parts for money rituals.
The Police in Asankragua described the crime as deeply disturbing and said the suspect is in custody while investigations continue.
