FIFA has announced the venues for Ghana’s 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar.
The Black Stars will host Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 19:00, before heading to Morocco to face Madagascar on Monday, March 24, 2025.
The match against Madagascar, initially scheduled for Antananarivo, has been moved to Al Hoceima, Morocco, due to issues with the approval of Madagascar’s national stadium.
The Matchday 6 clash will kick off at 19:00 at the Grand Stade d’Al Hoceima.
With nine points from four matches, Ghana currently sits in second place, tied on points with Comoros but trailing on goal difference.
Ghana’s qualifying campaign started with a 1-0 victory over Madagascar in Kumasi, followed by a 1-0 away defeat to Comoros. The Black Stars then returned to winning ways with back-to-back victories over Mali and the Central African Republic in June of the previous year, defeating Mali 2-1 in Bamako and the Central African Republic 4-3 at home.
