FIFA will on Saturday, 6 December, reveal the updated match schedule for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ during a live broadcast from Washington, D.C. The eagerly awaited announcement is set for 12:00 EST (18:00 CET), coming less than 24 hours after the Final Draw introduces the tournament’s groundbreaking 12 groups of four teams.
The event will be led by FIFA President Gianni Infantino, who will be joined on stage by a lineup of FIFA Legends. Representatives from all 42 teams that have already qualified, along with officials from countries still fighting for the final slots, are expected to be present—adding to the high-profile nature of the unveiling.
Saturday’s broadcast is expected to be one of the most pivotal moments on the road to 2026, as experts break down the match-ups, analyse potential storylines, and highlight the unique host venues that will welcome the world next summer across Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
Fans will also learn the venues and kick-off times for all 104 matches. The global broadcast will stream live on FIFA.com, FIFA’s YouTube channel, and other FIFA digital platforms, with a dedicated feed made available to international broadcasters.
Following the Final Draw, FIFA’s match allocation process seeks to optimise conditions for teams and spectators while balancing viewing opportunities across global time zones. A finalised version of the match schedule will be released in March 2025, after the remaining FIFA and European play-off matches determine the last six qualifiers.
With excitement rising across the three co-hosting nations and 16 dynamic Host Cities and nearly two million tickets already sold the match schedule reveal marks another major step toward what is expected to be the biggest and most transformative FIFA World Cup in history.
