FIFA WORLD CUP 2026™ :Ticket Holders to Receive Prioritized U.S. Visa Appointments

FIFA World Cup 2026™ ticket holders traveling to the United States will benefit from prioritized U.S. visa appointments through the newly launched FIFA Priority Appointment Scheduling System (FIFA PASS).

The initiative, unveiled by the U.S. Department of State, gives ticket holders early access to visa interviews ahead of the historic tournament.

The announcement was made at a White House event attended by U.S. President Donald J. Trump, FIFA President Gianni Infantino, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, highlighting the collaboration between FIFA and U.S. authorities to facilitate a smooth travel experience for fans.

“America welcomes the world,” said FIFA President Gianni Infantino. “The FIFA PASS service is a concrete example of making this the greatest and most inclusive FIFA World Cup™ in history.”

The FIFA World Cup 2026™ will feature 78 matches across 16 host cities: 11 in the United States, 3 in Mexico, and 2 in Canada. Over six million tickets will be available for fans worldwide. Ticket holders from countries requiring U.S. visas are encouraged to apply immediately through FIFA PASS, with additional guidance provided in early 2026. Fans from Visa Waiver Program (VWP) countries may use ESTA for travel.

The tournament is projected to have significant socioeconomic impact, generating 185,000 jobs, USD 30.5 billion in gross output, and USD 17.2 billion to the U.S. GDP.
