The date, venue and kick-off time for the Finalissima clash between Spain and Argentina have been officially confirmed.
UEFA and CONMEBOL, in collaboration with the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) and the Argentine Football Association (AFA), announced details for the 2026 edition of the showpiece encounter.
The highly anticipated fixture will see UEFA EURO 2024 champions Spain take on CONMEBOL Copa América 2024 winners Argentina in a battle between the two continental title holders. The match is scheduled for Friday, March 27, 2026, at the Lusail Stadium in Qatar, with kick-off set for 21:00 local time.
The game will be delivered by Qatar’s Local Organising Committee for football events.
Reacting to the announcement, UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin described the Finalissima as a celebration of football’s global appeal, noting that the match brings together two continental champions on one of the sport’s most prestigious stages and reflects the strong bond between the confederations.
He expressed confidence that fans can expect a memorable night of world-class football.
