A fire at a premix station in Anomabo, Central Region, has left one person feared dead and three others hospitalized.
According to eyewitnesses, the fire started when a leaking container from a Zoomlion vehicle ignited the fuel at the station.
Four people, including a 35-year-old NPP party member, Carlos, were trapped in the blaze.
Carlos, who suffered severe burns, was rushed to Anomabo Hospital and later transferred to Cape Coast Teaching Hospital for further treatment.
His three colleagues sustained minor injuries.
Fire Service Commander, DO1 Doudoo, said the fire likely originated from a kitchen near the premix station, according to intelligence gathered by his team.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.”
