The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced that first-year Senior High School (SHS) students for the 2024/2025 academic year are expected to report to school on Friday, September 27, 2024.
A statement signed by Prince C. Agyemang-Duah, Acting Director for Schools and Instructions Division, on behalf of the Director-General of the GES, and dated July 15, 2024, advised parents and school heads to take note and prepare accordingly.
The statement indicated that the students’ vacation date would be Friday, December 6, 2024, while all other activities and programmes scheduled for the semester remain unchanged.
The announcement comes after the completion of the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) by Junior High School graduates last Monday.
