The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration has announced the availability of scholarships for Ghanaians to pursue short-term capacity building programmes and tertiary education in various fields of study.
The scholarships, made possible through Ghana’s diplomatic engagements, are aimed at equipping citizens with relevant skills and knowledge while supporting national development. According to the Ministry, links to the capacity building programmes have been uploaded to its official website, making it easier for interested applicants to access.
The Ministry also receives scholarship offers from partner countries, which are then transmitted to the Ghana Scholarships Secretariat to be awarded to qualified candidates.
In a statement, the Ministry encouraged interested Ghanaians to apply directly through its website in line with published guidelines, or to contact the Ghana Scholarships Secretariat for further details. Inquiries can also be made via email at ipab@mfa.gov.gh.
The public was further cautioned to rely only on official communication from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ghana Scholarships Secretariat, and to avoid using intermediaries to access scholarships or training opportunities.
The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to providing quality public service, assuring Ghanaians that these opportunities are intended to benefit citizens and strengthen the country’s human resource base.
