Four governors from Burkina Faso pay courtesy call on Upper East Regional Minister 

Four regional governors from Burkina Faso have paid a courtesy call on the Upper East Regional Minister, Dr Hafiz Bin Salih, at Bolgatanga.

Their visit was to introduce themselves to the regional minister for their presence in the country over a Technical Committee meeting.

The Burkinabe leadership have held meetings with the leadership of the Ghana boundary authorities over encroached boundaries at the borders of these two sister countries.

The regional minister reiterated the commitment of Ghana towards a good relationship with Burkina Faso. He added that due to the relationship of Ghana with her sister french countries, the leadership of the government led by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo have initiated for French to be studied in the basic schools.

Dr Hafiz Bin Salih also mentioned to the regional governors to admonish their citizens living in Ghana to put a good conduct and behavior in accordance with the Ghanaian laws.

The visitors however expressed gratitude for the warm reception and indicated that, they are ready to welcome the Ghanaian leadership to their country any time possible.
