Four people have been injured in a violent clash between supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) at the Kasoa office of the Electoral Commission (EC).
The incident occurred at around 5:00 am, resulting in injuries to four persons, including Ato Koomson, an aide to the Member of Parliament (MP) for Kasoa, Mavis Hawa Koomson.
According to eyewitnesses, the clash occurred over a disagreement on the queuing of voters seeking to transfer their votes to the constituency.
The injured persons have been admitted to the Kasoa Polyclinic and the 37 Military Hospital in Accra, respectively.
Police have arrested two persons, including the constituency organizer of the NDC, in connection with the violence.
Investigations are ongoing to ensure peace and order in the area.
