FunWorld, the lively edutainment showcase, returns to the Main Auditorium of the National Theatre of Ghana in Accra for another family-friendly afternoon.
The event, set for 1pm, gathers primary and Junior High School pupils from across the city for dance showcases, storytelling, poetry recitals, and a spirited debate competition.
Built as a platform for young talent, FunWorld highlights both traditional and contemporary performances while encouraging pupils to engage in drama, music, and reasoned discussion.
Organisers coordinate each edition around strong themes past programs have addressed topics like “Empowering Girls for a Brighter Future,” World Creativity and Innovation Day, and the International Day of Families using creative activities to spark conversations about child protection, creativity, and future aspirations.
More than a children’s show, FunWorld is a cultural institution in Greater Accra. Families, teachers, and community members pack the auditorium to support performers, turning each edition into a warm, communal celebration of Ghanaian culture and youthful imagination. With affordable admission often around GH¢20, FunWorld offers an accessible weekend escape full of laughter, learning, and memorable performances.
Whether it’s a child’s first time on a professional stage or an adult revisiting a cherished childhood tradition, FunWorld continues to be a vibrant showcase for arts, education, and youth empowerment.
