A fire outbreak has completely destroyed several structures worth thousands of cedis at Madina Ritz Junction in Accra.

The unfortunate incident, according to officials of the Ghana National Fire Service started on Tuesday (May 30) evening.

The outbreak began around 11 pm at a place very close to the Fire Station at Madina.

Following an alarm by residents, firemen from various parts of Accra were marshaled to fight the fire.

Currently, officials of the Service have not been able to explain the cause of the fire as investigations are underway.

This is the second time a fire incident has been recorded at the Madina-Ritz junction.

The first one occurred on February 1, 2023, in which 30 shops and several houses were affected.
