Ghana Armed Forces caution public about fake recruitment ads

The Ghana Armed Forces has warned the public to be on the lookout for fake recruitment advertisements.

In a statement dated June 4, 2025, signed by Captain Veronica Adzo Arhin, the Acting Director General Public Relations, the GAF noted that it is not currently recruiting or enlisting new members.

The public is being advised to be cautious of scammers who may be using fake ads to deceive people.

“Any such advertisement or information of any form is fake and should be ignored,” the statement said.

The Ghana Armed Forces has assured the public that any future recruitment or enlistment exercises will be announced through the Daily Graphic and the Ghanaian Times. This is to help people avoid falling victim to scams.

GAF urged the general public to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the relevant authorities.
