Ghana has officially kicked off the Cedi@60 International Currency Conference, running from November 17 to 20, 2025, to celebrate six decades of the Ghanaian cedi. The event is being held at the Accra International Conference Centre, hosting over 800 delegates from more than 40 countries.
H.E. John Dramani Mahama, President of Ghana, is the Special Guest of Honour, highlighting both the national and international significance of this milestone.
The conference is organized by the Bank of Ghana in partnership with the Centre for Research (CR), with headline partners including Crane Currency, De La Rue, and Giesecke+Devrient.
