The Ghana Badminton Association (GBA) today announced its national team for the 2025 African AirBadminton Championships, marking the first step in Ghana’s unprecedented hosting of the AirBadminton World Series.
The defending African champions will begin residential training this weekend to prepare for both the continental championships and their role as hosts of the global AirBadminton tournament series from July 3-6, 2025, at the Laboma Beach Resort.
The 2025 season represents a historic moment for Ghanaian sports, with the nation simultaneously defending its continental title while hosting one of five global AirBadminton World Series tournaments – the first major international badminton event in West Africa.
