An international diplomat and peace builder, Mr Emmanuel Bonbande believes that what Ghana needs now is a real shift in transformation for the NDC to massively win victory in the upcoming elections.
Speaking on Good Morning Ghana program on Metro TV, the former Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration stressed that winning elections needs effective communicators likes Sammy Gyamfi, who is passionate and filled with enthusiasm and can constantly conduct researches to deliver what the people of Ghana want to hear.
“For NDC to massively win victory, effective communicators should be elected and led by Sammy Gyamfi, young and enthusiastic, constantly researching and delivering what Ghanaians want to hear”, he said.
The peace builder, who is also a senior mediation adviser to the United Nation, emphasised that the ruling government can retain its office in the next elections by electing leaders who are sociable and also loved by Ghanaians.
“These qualities must be seen in a leader who is affable and loved by the people”, he stated.
In reference to the president John Dramani, the diplomat termed him as charismatic and visionary leader who’s personality encouraged Ghanaians to vote him into office.
“We can’t run away from the personality and charismatic leadership of John Mahama which made Ghanaians to give him the victory he won”, he said.
Mr Bombande in his submission urged Ghanaians to retain the ruling party in the upcoming elections for the benefit of the country.
“If we love the work that Mahama is doing, we must give him that type of leadership president by ensuring that his resetting agenda succeeds, and that anyone who will succed him from the party will ride behind NDC for the benefit of the people of Ghana”, he said.
