Ghana’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, H. E Mrs. Sabah Zita Benson, has extended an invitation to accomplished Ghanaians in the diaspora, professionals, and entrepreneurs to consider investing in Ghana.
Speaking at the 2025 Forty Under Forty United Kingdom Awards, Ghana’s High Commissioner highlighted Ghana’s potential for innovation and growth, emphasizing the country’s readiness to partner with its diaspora and global investors to advance industrial growth, technology transfer, and youth employment.
“As we celebrate excellence, I wish to take the opportunity to invite all of you our accomplished diaspora, professionals and entrepreneurs to look homeward, Ghana, as a destination for investment.”

“Come to Ghana for innovation and growth. Ghana continues to offer an enabling environment for businesses anchored on political stability, robust financial reforms and investor-friendly legislation,” she stressed.
Her Excellency Sabah Zita Benson also underscored Ghana’s stable political environment, robust financial reforms, and investor-friendly legislation as major reason for the investors to choose Ghana as their destination for growth and business expansions. She reminded both entrepreneurs and young innovators at the event the range of incentives Ghana offers to investors, including tax holidays for priority sectors such as agriculture, manufacturing, tourism, and renewable energy, while noting that exceptions and duty-free imports on plant, machinery, and equipment are available for approved projects.
“And just in case you don’t know, investors in Ghana enjoy a range of incentives and tax freedoms, including tax holidays for priority sectors, such as Agriculture, Manufacturing, Tourism and Renewable Energy. They also enjoy exceptions and duty-free imports on Plant, machinery, equipment for approved projects. Also, under the Ghana Free Zone Authority you have special access to economic zones and industrial parks with infrastructure and policy supports.”
The High Commissioner used the opportunity to praised the young professionals who have been honoured at the awards, saying their success reflects the vibrancy, creativity, and determination of a generation redefining narratives and elevating Africa’s image on the global stage.
