The Government of Ghana has recognized and hailed the media in Ghana for what it describes as commendable coverage of the Ghana Month Celebrations.

According to a statement released on behalf of the government by the Ministry of Information, the government took notice of the excellent mileage given to the Ghana Month Celebration where the media dedicated their content and airtime to promote the local culture of the country.

The extensive and wide coverage, government admits has bought attention to Ghana’s rich history, culture, and people. The statement further added that through the effort of the media, the achievement and the country’s potential for growth and development have been well marketed to the world.

The government, therefore, congratulated the media for a good job done adding that they should continue with such Ghana-related content even beyond the Ghana Month.

“Contribution from the media has helped promote Ghana’s tourism and culture and will help in efforts to attract investors to the country. The government encourages more of such content even beyond the month of March,” parts of the statement signed by the Minister for Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah noted.

“Congratulations to the Ghanaian media,” the statement concluded.
