Government has denied Cheriponi district’s share of national development – NDC

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Cheriponi district of the North East Region has expressed disappointment in the government’s neglect of the district’s development.

At a press conference, the NDC noted that all major projects initiated by the previous government have been abandoned, while the current government has failed to start any meaningful projects in the district.

The Cheriponi district, one of six in the North East Region, lacks basic infrastructure, including good roads, making life difficult for residents. The district also lacks a functioning ambulance, a standard hospital, and reliable energy supply, exacerbating the challenges faced by residents.

The NDC is demanding the district’s fair share of national development, calling on the government to complete major roads, provide an ambulance, and improve energy supply.

The party urged the government to prioritize the development of the district, addressing the challenges faced by residents.
