Ghanaians are set to turn their attention to the next edition of the Government Accountability Series as the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, takes the stage today, Monday, September 15, 2025.
The program, organized by the Presidency Communications Directorate, will begin at 10:30 am and is expected to focus on Ghana’s foreign relations, diplomacy, and the government’s international commitments.
As the nation continues to navigate key issues such as bilateral trade, global partnerships, security cooperation, and the welfare of Ghanaians abroad, expectations are high that the minister will use this platform to outline government achievements while addressing concerns from the public.
Mr. Ablakwa is anticipated to provide updates on Ghana’s role in regional and global affairs, ongoing negotiations with international partners, and steps being taken to strengthen the country’s image on the world stage. Citizens are also looking forward to clarifications on foreign missions, consular services, and how government policies are impacting Ghanaians in the diaspora.
The Government Accountability Series has become an important channel for keeping citizens informed on national progress, giving ministers the opportunity to share results, answer questions, and reinforce transparency. With Ablakwa’s session, attention will be on how Ghana positions itself in the competitive global space and how these efforts translate into opportunities for its people.
Ghanaians at home and abroad will be following closely, eager to hear what new directions and assurances the minister will bring to the table.
