The Government of Ghana, through the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MoFA), has partnered with Fauree Link GH Limited to launch “Akuafoɔ Anidasoɔ” (Farmers’ Hope), a nationwide digital agricultural platform.
Signed in Accra on February 16, 2026, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) establishes a Ghana-specific, government-branded system to modernize farmer services, financing, input distribution, and market access.

The platform will serve as the central digital backbone for Ghana’s agriculture sector, supporting:
- National farmer registration and verification
- Digital input distribution and targeted subsidies
- Embedded agricultural finance solutions
- Market linkages and buyer aggregation
- Government oversight dashboards and data-driven policy monitoring
Akuafoɔ Anidasoɔ will operate as a government-branded system aligned with the Feed Ghana Programme and broader agricultural modernization efforts. Fauree Link GH Limited will design, deploy, and operate the platform.
A structured pilot program begins March 15, 2026, ahead of the new farming season, to test system readiness, farmer onboarding, and ecosystem integration before nationwide rollout.
The initiative emphasizes data sovereignty and farmer protection, ensuring individual farmer data remains private while aggregated insights become a national asset.
The collaboration marks a major milestone in Ghana’s digital agriculture transformation. By integrating technology into registration, financing, and market systems, the platform is expected to boost productivity, enhance transparency, strengthen subsidy targeting, and expand farmers’ access to finance and markets. Observers say it positions Ghana as a regional leader in digital agricultural governance and agri-finance innovation.
