Vision FC head coach Nana Agyemang has expressed full confidence in his squad ahead of their Ghana Premier League (GPL) showdown with Asante Kotoko, insisting his team has a strategic plan to exploit Kotoko’s weaknesses.
Speaking to Original TV, Agyemang made it clear that their game plan isn’t built around Peter Amidu Acquah, Kotoko’s star winger, but targets the entire Porcupine Warriors team.
“Our game plan against Kotoko isn’t built around Peter Amidu Acquah but around Asante Kotoko,” he said. “We’ve studied their games and know their weaknesses. We have players who can stop him.”
The Vision FC coach also highlighted concerns about Acquah’s fitness:
“Peter’s recovery isn’t looking too good. There’s no way he can last 90 minutes unless he’s a machine.”
Even while acknowledging Acquah as “the best player in the GPL,” Agyemang remained unshaken:
“Stopping wingers is one of the easiest things to do. We know their strengths and weaknesses. Their problem will be when Vision FC has the ball. They’ll suffer when we’re in possession.”
He concluded with a bold warning:
“We have players Kotoko should be worried about. We have a plan for Kotoko.”
With both teams gearing up for this highly anticipated Vision FC vs Asante Kotoko fixture, all eyes will be on how Agyemang’s tactical blueprint plays out on matchday.
