Ghanaian Afrobeats star Kidi has officially confirmed that he is no longer signed to Lynx Entertainment
During a TikTok Live with blogger Code Micky, KiDi said he’s now an independent artist after parting ways with the label around his “Gymnastic” release with Olivetheboy and Kojo Black.”
During the Lomo Lomo days I was there, Gymnastic was my exit,” he explained.
Following his departure, reports indicate KiDi has already begun releasing music under his own independent imprint, licensed to Encore.
KiDi’s most recent release is “Signature,” featuring Lasmid, which dropped on April 30, 2026.
This follows a string of major releases in early 2026 that explore different emotional narratives, from the recovery after heartbreak in “Babylon” to the high-energy collaborative vibe of “Gymnastic”.
