Heart of Lions will begin their 2023/2024 betPawa Premier League campaign in Kumasi against giants, Asante Kotoko, and the Lions are poised for victory.
Speaking on the Super Sports Show on Original 91.9 FM, the manager of the Kpando-based side, Fatawu Salifu said the team will go all out to play for the maximum points and avoid defeat.
Coach Fatawu admitted it is a big and difficult game but he is positive his side is up to the task and will play to win.
” Playing Asante Kotoko on day one will not be easy but will play for a point or all three points,” he said on Tuesday.
“We are seen as underdogs, but we are here to compete and stay in the league,” he told Original Fm.
Heart of Lions gained promotion to the top flight after 7years in Division One.
