Hearts, Kotoko need proper plans to succeed – Laryea Kingston

Former Hearts of Oak and Black Stars player, Laryea Kingston has attributed the current struggles in the two big clubs in Ghana to a lack of proper planning.

In an exclusive interview with Metro TV, the former Ghana international stated that; “Both Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko should have a game plan for the future, there should be a plan for what they want to achieve in the next 4-5 years both in the league and on the continent”.

“It’s all about planning but unfortunately I don’t think they have any such thing”.

“These teams should try and do the right things”

“They should also try to hire the right technical people and the right management who understands the game”

Hearts of Oak’s dream of winning the GPL trophy this season received a massive blow over the weekend as Medeama SC thumped them 5-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium to climb top of the league log.

The Phobians are currently 8th with 45 points on the table while their arch rival Kotoko occupies the 4th position 47 points.
