‘I travelled’ – Kurl Songx explains absence from music scene

Hiplife musician Kurl Songx has provided reasons for his disappearance from the Ghanaian music scene.

The former Highly Spiritual Music recording artiste reveals he travelled outside the shores of the country.

Since his emergence, he has released several songs including ‘Trumpet’, ‘Odo’, ‘Lobi’, and ‘Snapchat’ among other chart-topping songs. However, the musician has been missing in the music industry in recent years.

A number of people have wondered why Kurl Songx has released no song in a while prompting the speculation he has quit music to pursue other interests.

But speaking on Metro TV’s Entertainment Review, the musician brushed off those claims, divulging he left the country for personal reasons and also to explore opportunities for his music career.

“I was out of the country. It was both business and music related – [my] personal life and music aspect. Yeah, that is why I’ve been away for a while,” he explained on the magazine lifestyle and entertainment show that airs between 3 pm and 4 pm each weekday.

“But we (sic) are here fully,” Kurl Songx assured his fans and music lovers.

The MTN Hitmaker star continued, ”we love Ghana and this is where we want to stay.
