Member of Parliament for Assin Central and aspiring flagbearer hopeful for the NPP, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has dared to bring down the NPP should members in the party continue to witchhunt his numerous business.
According to the vociferous and firebrand politician, his businesses have become targets for a witchhunt following his decision to contest for the NPP flagbearer position.
Speaking in an interview with Kumasi-based Sompa FM, Kennedy Agyapong said some unscrupulous persons in the party should be very careful in dealing with him. According to the MP, should they continue with their targeted attacks on his businesses, the disclosures he will make about the NPP will bring the party to its knees.
Citing a case to buttress his claim, Kennedy Agyapong disclosed that the party is using the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) as a conduit to interfere and frustrate the operations of his cold store business.
“I am being nice and charitable to NPP (members), they shouldn’t dare me, they shouldn’t dare me. I will finish the party, the things I will say. The things I know that I have kept quiet,” the vociferous MP noted.
“Let me say this, I have gone past intimidation. They cannot use the system to intimidate me, I have to say this, I have opened businesses across the last five presidents. I never went through any of this harassment. Ghana Revenue Authority can never collapse my business because I will fight. I will fight for the youth because that steel plant alone will take 1000 workers,” he said.
“And you are going there because Kwame Agyapong is loudmouthed because he wants to contest [for president] so you will destroy my business,” he added.
