Ignite Media’s Ahenewaah debunks false claims linking her to artiste’s death

A TV presenter with Ignite Media Group Adwoa Ahenewaah,, has vehemently denied false allegations circulating on social media that associate her with the recent lynching of an artiste in Kumasi.

Ahenewaah in a statement condemned the “harmful misinformation” and clarified that she had no personal relationship with the deceased artiste, Wyllbee.

“I unequivocally condemn the social media post responsible for spreading this harmful misinformation. Being incorrectly associated with such a horrific and sad event is hurtful and distressing,” she said.

She expressed her deepest sympathy to the deceased’s family, noting that her only connection with him was when he appeared on her show on July 19, 2023.

“I commiserate with the family over this unfortunate incident. May God strengthen them in this difficult moment,” she added.

The TV presenter urged the public to rely on verified information and refrain from sharing the false accusations.

While expressing sadness over Wyllbee’s death, Ahenewaa reiterated her commitment to clearing her name, saying “I am taking all necessary steps to protect my name and ensure the truth prevails.”
