I’ll complete the Greater Kumasi City project I started – Alan

Presidential candidate of the Movement for Change, Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, has promised to make sure the Greater Kumasi Industrial City and Special Economic Zone project at Ejisu will be completed if elected as president in the December 7 polls.

“If elected as president, I will build the biggest projects which can turn the fortunes of the country,” Mr Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen told Ejisu Manhene Nana Afrane Okese at his Palace on October 3, 2024.

“I want every Ghanaian to know that there is something big coming into the country which is the Greater Kumasi Industrial City and Special Economic Zone,” he added.

Speaking at the Palace of the Ejisu Manhene Nana Afrane Okese, Mr Alan Kyerematen revealed that the Chief was part of those who drafted the whole project.

According to Mr Kyerematen, the project will cost $2.5 billion.

Explaining issues to Nana Afrane Okese IV, Alan noted revealed that, he single handedly secured a Word Bank finding of $30 million for the project to begin, a proof that he has Asnteman and Ejisu at heart.

Alan also said he went further to the government of Korea Republic and secured another $100 million for the face one of the project.

He argued that, though government has already started the Buankra Inland Port, yet the port alone cannot move the industrialization agenda he has been championing hence the need for the industrial city.

Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen is on a 19 days campaign tour in the Ashanti Region.Ejisu Manhene, Nana Afrane Okese IV endorsed Alan Kyerematen stating categorically that, he will always support his aim of becoming the president of the Republic.
