I’ll create two millionaires in each constituency if I’m voted president — Kojo Bonsu

NDC Presidential Candidate hopeful Kojo Bonsu is promising to implement policies that will create millionaires if he is elected into office in the 2024 general election.

He told Annie Afua Ampofo on Good Afternoon Ghana on Metro TV on Wednesday, February 15, 2023.

Mr. Bonsu, the former Mayor of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly touted his competencies and abilities to turn Ghana’s fortunes around to benefit the ordinary Ghanaian.

He accused the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo government of flooding the seat of government with over a thousand and seventeen presidential staffers which is milking the nation dry.

The NDC flagbearer hopeful said this will not happen under his tenure. Instead, he mentions parts of his strategies to salvage Ghanaians from untold hardships including randomly selecting two people from each constituency to work with him as a presidential staffer.

“I am going to choose two people from each constituency to come to work with me as presidential staffers in the Flagstaff House if I win,” he said

“I am going to create two millionaires in every constituency when I come to power” the former KMA boss added.

According to the Ghana Statistical Service’s most recent figures, inflation slightly decreased from 54.1% in December 2022 to 53.6% in January 2023.

The President says, terminating the appointment of Mr. Ofori-Atta will disrupt the programme.

At a meeting with the aggrieved MPs at the Jubilee House, Nana Akufo-Addo appealed for calm.

 The President is yet to honour his promise after Ghana reached a staff-level agreement with the IMF.
