Afrobeats superstar Davido has been confirmed as one of the headline performers for the official kick-off concert of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
According to reports, the concert will take place on Saturday at the Olm Souissi Fan Zone in Rabat, setting the tone for the start of the continental showpiece.
Davido will share the stage with an exciting lineup that includes French Montana, Douaa Lahyaoui, Says’z, and Lartiste. The event will be open to fans who hold valid Fan IDs and match tickets.
The Nigerian music icon is no stranger to major global sporting events. He previously performed at the AFCON 2017 opening ceremony, the 2022 FIFA World Cup draw in Doha, and the 2023 Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Awards.
The AFCON 2025 finals officially kick off later on Saturday with the opening match between hosts Morocco and Comoros at the Stade Prince Moulay Abdallah in Rabat.
