Inaki Williams celebrates Black Stars’ victory over Mali

Ghana forward Inaki Williams has hailed the Black Stars’ “y3nkooooo!” win over Mali in the World Cup 2026 qualifiers.

Williams, who missed the match due to injury, took to social media to celebrate Ghana’s 2-1 victory in Bamako. “Y3nkooooooooo! 🕺🏿🔝” he tweeted.

Ghana’s win, secured through goals from Ernest Nuamah and Jordan Ayew, marks their first competitive away win in two years. The Black Stars will face Central Africa Republic in their next qualifier on Monday, 10 June.

Williams’ tweet reflects the excitement and relief felt by the Ghanaian team and fans after a hard-fought victory. The win keeps Ghana’s hopes alive for qualifying for the World Cup, which will be hosted by the USA, Canada, and Mexico in two years.
