Former President of the Sierra Leone Football Association Isha Johansen has joined FIFA Executive Council Member Amaju Pinnick to congratulate President Simeon-Okraku on his re-election as head of Ghana’s football governing body.
In separate messages to the President, the two astute football administrators touted the leadership qualities of the President and prayed for wisdom to be able to lead Ghana Football.
On Thursday, President Simeon-Okraku received an astonishing vote of confidence to lead the Football Association for another four years after polling 117 of the 120 total votes cast during the GFA Elective Congress at the Global Dream Hotel in Tamale.
“I have received a report from my team on the ground in Ghana, and they have said everything went smoothly.” President Pinnick remarked.
“We want to congratulate Kurt for this election, and the massive show of support during the congress shows the widespread endorsement of his work.”
“We are highly impressed by the job he has done in reviving Ghana football in this short time, in the face of global problems like the absence of football for the two years that COVID affected the world and our game” The FIFA Executive Council Member added.
Meanwhile former President of the Sierra Leone Football Association and FIFA Executive Council Member Isha Johansen has also reached out with a hearty congratulations to President Simeon-Okraku.
