I’ve learnt my lessons; I will not contest this year’s GFA presidential elections – Amanda Clinton

Failed Ghana Football Association Presidential aspirant Lawyer Amanda Clinton has disclosed that she will not be contesting in this year’s elections scheduled for October 2023.

Amanda became the only female and a surprise candidate during the 2019 GFA November general elections because she was not known in the football circus.

The outspoken lawyer, unfortunately, amassed zero votes during the contest as Kurt Okraku emerged winner in the keenly contested election which saw six persons vying for the presidency position.

Speaking with Gideon Okyere Anim “Gatusso” , Amanda stated that she will not be found anywhere near this year’s GFA presidential contest.

“I learnt my lessons in the last time round”

“No, I don’t think I’m ready to run this year.  I really have to do my grassroots work, which I’m doing now,” he said on Original 91.9FM’s Super Morning Show on Thursday.

Amanda Clinton hinted at the possibility of contesting for the position next four years.

“I might be available to contest again in the next four or eight years,” she said.
