I’ve submitted all required documents to Appointments Committee – Sam George

Minister-Designate for Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovations, Samuel Nartey George, has reaffirmed his commitment to transparency, submitting all required documents to Parliament’s Appointments Committee.

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Tuesday, February 4, Sam George stated categorically that “For the avoidance of any doubt and to settle any controversy, yesterday, I submitted to the Appointments Committee all the documents required of me, and more.”

The documents include certified copies of his certificates from the London School of Economics (LSE) and the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC), as well as evidence of his travel, accommodation receipts, proof of fees paid, and the prospectus from @lseideas on the course he studied.

Sam George’s submission comes amidst controversy surrounding his nomination, with the Minority threatening to take him through a secret vote to determine his approval.

The Minority Leader, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, had expressed concerns over the lack of consensus on Sam George’s nomination, citing unresolved issues with his credentials.

Despite the controversy, Sam George remains resolute in his commitment to serving the nation.

“Facts are sacred, and I remain resolute in my quest to serve my Nation to the best of my abilities. So help me God,” he stated.
