JAC Tryton Motors has expanded its investment in Ghanaian football by signing sponsorship agreements with Ghana Women’s Premier League side Jonina Ladies and newly promoted Ghana Premier League club Debibi United FC.
The partnership agreements were officially signed on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at the company’s head office in Accra. The ceremony brought together executives of JAC Tryton Motors, officials of both clubs, players, coaches, football administrators, members of the media and other invited guests.
The sponsorship reflects JAC Tryton Motors’ commitment to supporting the growth of football in Ghana by investing in both the women’s and men’s game. The company says the partnership will contribute to talent development, improved professionalism and the long-term sustainability of the sport.
For Jonina Ladies, the sponsorship comes as a major boost as the club continues to compete among Ghana’s elite women’s teams. The partnership also highlights the increasing role of the private sector in advancing women’s football and creating more opportunities for female footballers.
Jonina Ladies have built a strong reputation in the Ghana Women’s Premier League, producing talented players for both local and international football. The club recently celebrated the transfer of captain and Black Princesses forward Agnes Yeboah to Chinese Women’s Super League side Guangdong Meizhou Women Football Club.
Debibi United FC will also receive support from JAC Tryton Motors as the club prepares for its debut season in the Ghana Premier League after securing promotion to the top flight.
The sponsorship is expected to strengthen the operations of both clubs and provide them with additional resources as they aim for success in their respective leagues during the 2026/27 football season.
