Kelvynboy has opened up about his ongoing rift with Stonebwoy, revealing in an interview on Joy Prime TV with George Quaye on April 29, 2026, that they have not spoken or been on good terms since their public fallout and later “banter.”
Kelvynboy revealed he has made as many as five attempts to reconcile over the years, but Stonebwoy has reportedly shown no interest in resolving the issue.
Still, he said, “I love every song of Stonebwoy,” showing he continues to respect his former boss’s music despite the estrangement.
Stonebwoy has previously blamed “misconduct” and “disrespect,” even suggesting the situation turned dangerous. Kelvyn Boy, however, said he has almost forgotten the exact cause of the conflict due to how long it has been.
The rift started in January 2019 when Stonebwoy’s Burniton Music Group chose not to renew Kelvyn Boy’s contract.
The split grew bitter, with Stonebwoy claiming Kelvynboy and others tried to “eliminate” him—a charge Kelvynboy denies, calling it “paranoia” and “mafia tactics” aimed at ruining his career.
