A female student of Keta Business Senior High School, who took exeat to visit her grandmother, has been found dead in a manhole after allegedly travelling to see her boyfriend instead.
The deceased, Gloria Sagoe, who had been granted exeat from school under the pretext of visiting her ailing grandmother in Agbozome, reportedly diverted to Tomefa in the Ga South Municipality to see her boyfriend instead.
The tragic discovery was confirmed by the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) Public Relations Officer, DOII Desmond Ackah, who noted that investigations are underway to unravel the circumstances that led to the young girl’s death.
