Ghana’s famous hip-life artiste, Kuami Eugene has amicably resolved his beef with his junior colleague in the industry, Fotocopy.
The beef which can be labeled as a “David & Goliath” fight originated when Fotocopy, the “School Dey Dee” hitmaker, Fotocopy used unprintable words on Kuami Eugene after the “Open Gate” hitmaker denied him a collaboration.
After the back and forth, Kuami Eugene says he has forgiven his junior brother and his management.
Speaking on Accra-based Okay FM, he said, “I think hate is too much of an intense word for a small boy to understand. To say that I hate someone. He’s too young to understand hate but that’s parenting. He’s not my issue because I think hate is too profound for a little boy like this to say,”
“You can tell clearly that in the interview he was having, he was told backstage….and whoever hosted the show, did a very bad job because he was also told backstage that ask him this question and answer it this way, you can clearly, go and listen to this interview.” he added.
In a latest video circulating on social media, the one-time Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Artiste of the Year was seen hugging the 9-year-old as they smoke the peace pipe.
Other images seen on social media depict Kuami Eugene, Abeiku Santana, Fotocopy, and his dad/manager posing for the cameras.
Despite the new development, it is unclear if the “Wish Me Well” crooner will make a U-turn on his decision not to collaborate with Fotocopy.
“Kuami Eugene is not just there to do features for everyone. It takes good conversations to have a feature,” he indicated.
