Kuami Eugene signs distribution deal with EMPIRE

Musician Eugene Kwame Marfo known by the sobriquet Kuami Eugene has inked a distribution deal with EMPIRE.

Kuami Eugene joins the “Soja” hit singer, Blakk Sherif who was signed to the label in February this year.

EMPIRE Distribution, Records, and Publishing Inc. is an American distribution company and record label. Founded by Ghazi Shami, the label has offices in New York City, London, Nashville, Atlanta, and Lagos. It has released albums in various genres but it is predominantly focused on hip-hop music.

“My New Family EMPIRE,“ the sensational Ghanaian singer wrote.

Details of the deal are yet to be known.

However, he announcement has promoted a wave of speculation on social and traditional media platforms.

On Monday, the singer’s crypted tweet “I try saaa say I go stay but charley I for leff. Suro Nipa [sic],” fuelled rumours he is leaving Lynx Entertainment.

Scores of fans and music lovers read meanings into the now-deleted tweet claiming the artiste has ended his relationship with the Riche Mensah-owned record label which shot him to stardom.
