Kurrency Boxing management seals deals with Bronx Gym trio

Boxing management outfit, Kurency Boxing Promotions led by businessman Bright Aboagye, have announced the signing of three highly prospective boxers deemed to be Championship Level Boxers.

The unveiling and announcement of the newly signed boxers which took place at the Bronx Boxing Gym in Accra saw fellow boxers Daniel Quaye aka “High Tension” from the Lightweight Division, Issifu Sulley from the Super Featherweight Division, and finally Stephen Coffie (Lightweight), all of the Bronx Boxing Gym pen down 3-year renewable contracts with the Kurrency Boxing Promotions.

Head coach of the Bronx Boxing Gym, Lawrence Karl Lokko exclaimed his excitement for the latest adventure of the young boxers from his gym and implored them to take maximum advantage of the huge opportunity to help their careers blossom.

Kurrency Boxing Management is a highly rated and well-regarded boxing outfit founded and led by Mr. Bright Aboagye, a businessman who is the owner of Goldmart, a precious minerals business firm. A boxing enthusiast as well who has channeled his love and passion for the sport into recruiting and managing some of the best talents at the professional level.

During the event, Mr. Bright Aboagye disclosed his friendly ties with boxers Manyo Plange and Fredrick Lawson, a bond that consequently ballooned his interest in the sport and also influenced his decision to set up a boxing management outfit; Kurrency Boxing Promotions.

He further revealed how he personally attended sparing sessions at the Bronx Gym, an activity that played a major factor in his selection of the three boxers.

Mr Bright Aboagye also made known that his ultimate aim was to facilitate and help nurture the next generation of world champions and in essence reduce crime and social vices among the youth by providing a platform where they can be gainfully employed, earn a livelihood and realize their dreams.

The event was adorned by traditional ruler Nuumo Kla and parliamentary aspirant Alfred Nii Ashie Kotey who took turns to applaud the management outfit and also advised the boxers and also recognize the efforts of the coach of the Bronx gym, Coach Lokko.

During the event, the Bronx Boxing Gym showcased its National, International, Inter-Regional, and Continental Champions: Daniel Gorsh, Jacob Dickson, Felix Ajom, John Abaja Laryea, and newly crowned Jacob Tetteh Laryea.

The newly signed boxers expressed profound gratitude to their new manager for having confidence in them and pledged commensurate output.
