Renowned traditional priest Kwaku Bonsam has urged the Black Stars’ coaching team not to bench goalkeeper Benjamin Asare during the upcoming World Cup.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Justice Collee on Original TV, Bonsam highlighted the spiritual significance of Asare’s presence on the field.
According to Bonsam, Asare carries a unique spiritual luck that can positively influence the Black Stars’ performance in crucial matches. “Spiritually, the guy has some luck with the Black Stars, so the coach must not bench him,” Bonsam said, emphasizing the potential consequences of overlooking Asare.
As the Black Stars finalize their squad and game strategies, all eyes will be on Benjamin Asare to see if he will take the starting spot between the posts—and perhaps bring the luck that Kwaku Bonsam predicts.
Ghana have been drawn in Group L for the upcoming tournament, alongside England, Panama, and Croatia.
