A rent dispute between a landlady and her tenant has taken a disturbing turn after the landlady allegedly sprayed human faeces inside the tenant’s room in an attempt to force her out.
The incident followed a disagreement over a proposed rent increase from Gh¢2,000 to Gh¢3,500, which the tenant says was communicated without prior notice.
The tenant, identified as Comfort, said she was shocked when her landlady, popularly known in the area as Last Hour, demanded the increase without first informing her. Comfort explained that she objected to the sudden adjustment, leading to a heated disagreement between the two.
According to Comfort, the situation escalated when the landlady later returned to her apartment and deliberately spread human faeces inside her room. The act, she said, left her traumatised and unable to use the space.
