When the recent floods swept through the capital, leaving families across 11 electoral areas in the Tema West Municipality counting their losses, Lele Group didn’t wait to be asked — it acted.
True to its brand promise of “Tasty Foods, Happy Family,” the company rolled out a generous Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, donating 1,000 relief packages packed with essential food items to households hit hardest by the disaster. Each package was thoughtfully put together to ease the immediate burden on families working to get back on their feet.
The handover was a heartfelt moment, with Lele Group’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Hussein Jaber, personally presenting the donation to the Tema West NADMO Director, Mr. Kweku Nana Tatantu, who received the items on behalf of the municipality and its affected residents.
Speaking at the presentation, Mr. Jaber commended NADMO’s tireless coordination of relief efforts across the affected communities, noting how proud Lele Group was to play a part in supporting families during such a difficult time.
In response, the NADMO Director expressed deep appreciation to Lele Group for stepping forward when it mattered most, assuring the CEO that every package would reach the families who need it most without delay.
